SaturBoatDay

Fred and her Bayla in B's favorite place in the house.... checking out the window...Fred loves her B girl... and B loves her Fred...

Fred fell asleep and apparently I ended up falling asleep for a few minutes myself....

After I pried the sandy, sticky, hot, and very sweet Fred off of me... she napped for a good lil while in the shade... thanks Shannon for the Kelty sunshade... its AWESOME!!

On a last minute whim, Dougie Poo and I decided to take the boat out on Saturday... no small feat mind you.... packing up Addison, coolers of beverages, food, etc................ making sure something is worked out for the pups, because I have the two most spoiled rotten puppies that I hate to leave crated for too long..... not just because I like them so much, but because if they are crated too long, when I come home and let them out, its a lot like letting caged tigers out of their pens.... (so, a lot of love goes into this spoilage, and a lil bit of selfishness....)

Anyhow... so.... dog plans got worked out, all got packed up, and headed off..... and it never ceases to amaze me A- how many idiots there are at the boat landing... including the BUTTTTTTHHHHHEEEEEAAAAAADDDDDDD that took up 4, FOUR, parking places to park his truck and trailer, B- why people are allowed to fish/ crab/ shrimp off the boat ramp docks AND why they have no inclination to move for the people trying to get on and off boats, C- that there are still a FEW nice people who give you a hand with your boat while trying to get onto it from the dock with a baby on your hip, and D- how much my child is like me.... speed demon all the way.
She loves the bouncing with the boat wakes, she loves the speed, she more or less likes the actual water, and shes completey a nut. For the first time, she and I rode up in front of the console, just bouncing around with the wakes, and folks, she thought it was hilarious.... and it was not a calm ride out. There were boats EVERYWHERE, and Doug was definitely letting the motors eat.... and low and behold, I look down, as A and I are bouncing and riding along with the waves, shes zonked out. Completely. Woke up as SOON as we slowed down. The funniest part of the day is when we blew the doors off this Seafox with Addison laughing, and waving as we passed them... the look on the 3 guys on the boat was completely priceless. I honestly, could not quit laughing....
Met our friends Kane, Leslie, and their 2 girls Abs and Reeser on the beach, and had a blast. By the end of the day, Fred was a lil tired though...... the picture explains it all... I love boating with my girl.... and my hubs.... missed the dogs but it was nice not having to run around saying, Hi, Nice to Meet you, I'm so sorry my dogs just ran over you/ ate your dinner/ peed on your bag! All in all, FABULOUS day..... very very tired... all slept like babies that night. Hope to do it again Friday when Doug has off... before the 4th of July festivities get all crazy on the water...

Maegan, I don't have your email address or I'd email you but I must tell you that your comment made me absolutely crack up. Seriously. I'm not what you think I am. In fact right now if you saw me you'd scream and run the other way. I've just wrapped up a birthday party for Hornet and 2 glasses of wine and now I'm ready to crawl into bed and never come out... at least not for a few days... and if you saw my house you'd run screaming as fast as you can! :) Thanks for your comment though, it really made my night! :)
