Early 4th of July (Otherwise known as the 3rd...)

Amelia sacked out on the ride home... Melissa- notice the hat, lifejacket, clean tee shirt, and shes totally sunscreened down... and we even put a towel over her once we got out of the shade...

Fred sacked out on Mommy.... with the paci, LoveBunny, and the doorag to keep the wind out of her ears a lil...... and that sippy cup is probably about the 15th full sippy cup she had... along with a hot dog, turkey, cheese, cantaloupe, and almost an entire bag of frozen fruit.. (which by the way was brilliant, it was so cold and refreshing once it started thawing out enough to eat)

Daddy and his lil girl.... can't keep shirts on either one of them usually.... I love a baby girl with just a bathing suit bottom on... (and she only that had on for a little while... something about nekkid babies in the water.... FYI- shes fearless, was putting her arms out like she was swimming, kicking, and even "jumping" off the boat.... as was Miss Amelia...

And the girls chilling in the bean bag.... notice Fred's huge belly...... it went down in size drastically about an hour ago.... shoo-eee is all I have to say... even she said "stinky"......

Another fabulous day on the water...

Doug and I packed our lil Fred up, with all her fun toys, beach cabana, my chair, TONS OF FOOD, and tons of drinks cause I am pretty sure I have never seen a child drink more than my own child.... and were at the boat landing by 10am.
Our dear friend Chris came with his lil girl Amelia (who will be 3 in August!!), and another friend of ours Lee joined us on the boat. The girls were total boat girls... Amelia hung out in the bean bag, and Addison and I took the front seat again... her new fave place.... she also likes turning around to see her Daddy driving the boat from time to time... but mostly enjoys squealing with delight at bouncing around on the water (even though on the way out there was not much bouncing.. Daddy did hit a few good wakes just for her though!)
Got to the beach, and not only did my Aunt, Uncle, and my 3 cousins join us, but my brother and sister in law did, too! We found a trillion big sharks teeth, hermit crabs, and all in all had a great time.... The girls got along very well, although, Addison did try and beat up Amelia a few times.... I don't think its going to be long before Fred gets bigger than Amelia, and all I can say is... sorry Melissa! We're working on her not being soooo agressive... but she loves other kids.. and loves pulling on them to where ever she wants them to be..... On the way FROM the beach, both girls fell asleep and we enjoyed crusing around for a while....

Truly- another great day on the water... glad we won't be on it for the rest of the 4th weekend... hope if you make it out there, you're careful... as your own mothers used to say, "its not you, its the other people we don't trust!" ...... so be warned... and be sure to have your kids in their life jackets so they can get their free DNR tee shirts! Woohoo!
